Go Die, Please

Ugghh, my school is going into chaos! Thursday of last week, some people thought it would be funny to throw cartons of milk and juice at people during lunch. The school decided to give everyone a warning. The next day, people decided to do it again! What does the school do? They pull all the drinks from the snack bar so the only way you can get a drink is from actually buying lunch. The school also threatened to take Prom away. I don’t really care if they take it away from since I’m a Sophomore, but I do have friends who care and are just as pissed as me at what has been going on.

Does it stop here? No, on Tuesday, people thought it would be funny to bring water balloons with bleach in it. They weren’t thrown until Wednesday, though. COME ON! Bleach, really? If that got in someone’s eyes and damaged their eye vision, those people can face charges! Unfortunately someone already got hurt; my geometry teacher told us that on first day the juices were thrown, someone fell and got trampled (because everyone was running and trying to hide).

Oh it doesn’t end there, one of my friends told me yesterday that she herd that people were planning on bringing frozen water balloons to school. Can people get any dumber(yes they can)? Seriously, that can actually kill someone! Yeah, you people are complaining that drinks got taken away and that you don’t want Prom taken away either? Then how about you stop with this bullshit already!

A second ago, I asked and said if a person can get any dumber? Well they can; one of my friends got arrested on Wednesday because he pushed a yard duty(we call them campos, but my history teacher who saw it said it was a teacher) and then tried to kick a cop! He ended up getting pepper sprayed and he got arrested. Obviously everyone who knows him has no sympathy for him and he’ll probably get expelled.

One last thing too, I think the teacher he shoved was my geometry teacher, because she told us a student shoved her and she’s going to press charges. When she first told us, it sounded kind of dumb to do that, but then again, it’s never O.K. to touch a teacher. Also, from the tone of my teacher’s voice and her explanation, she decided to charge him for that reason and the fact that even if a teacher doesn’t get hurt if you push them, you still have the face the consequences.

People these days are so stupid!

Please Shut Up

At first it was amusing seeing non-comic book fans screaming how Iron Man is similar to Batman and how “The Dark Knight” will be better than “Iron Man”(or vica versa). Please shut up now, it’s getting annoying and old.

1. Please read up on the characters and their history before screaming how Iron Man ripped off Batman

2. Why do the two movies need to be compared? All they have in common is that they’re both based on comic books, other than that you can tell they’re in different genres. Why not compare either of these movies to “Wanted”, “Hellboy 2″,”The Incredible Hulk”, or “Watchmen?” -_-

Ecccck, my friends can be so annoying sometimes.

It started yesterday when I brought a few of my drawings to school, I wanted to ask the few who can draw(too) what they think; does one part need improving? What looks fine on it? Anyways, I showed one of my guy friends and he took one look at it and said.

“Anne’s a better drawer, her drawings are sick.”

Um ok, I did not ask you to compare my artistic skills to hers. Not to mention that (unfortunately) a lot of my friends are into anime/manga and most of them who draw draw manga, Anne included. I draw my figures realistically and proportionate and she draws hers cartoony, you can’t compare the two.

Anyways, I mentioned that I like drawing realistically and then I took out “Elektra: Introspect” which has an issue where Greg Horn rendered the interior pages. I showed my friend and Anne this, and Anne just said:

“Drawing realistically is stupid, just take a picture. It’s better cartoony.”

I was just like

“…….”

That was just an idiotic comment. She then went on to say that they should just get some girl(friend) to put on a costume and pose. I wanted to call her a fucken moron very badly.

So it’s easier to find and buy a good Elektra(or any hero) costume, find a female(or male) that looks similar to them, find co -characters, locations, drive there and pay for gas, hire someone to Photoshop imperfections out. Yeah, it’s a lot cheaper to edit out some acne, make the hair perfect, make the costume look perfect, give the hero( your girlfriend) bigger boobs and a more toned body on every single bloody panel she appears in.

Seriously, so she was saying to waste money (and time) on all those resources instead of just hiring a professional artist to draw and paint realistically on (a few special edition) comic book issues. And we all know that most comic book issues don’t have deadlines and editors don’t care if you take your sweet time taking all those photos.

*Sigh* some people are just morons.

[EDIT]Off topic but, does anyone know how much it costs for buying DVDs overseas? I’ve herd the shipping and handling is what’s expensive but does anyone know (from experience) just how much? can anyone give me an amount?

I don’t want my parents buying the DVDs for my birthday if it gets expensive [/EDIT]
