Well That was Disappointing

I watched Cloverfield a couple of days ago.Wow, that movie was disappointing! All that hype for an average monster movie!?
A lot of things in the movie did annoy me, but most of those things I could forgive like:
- The monster is a sea monster, yet it has legs as if it could climb trees.
- No matter how dangerous something becomes, the guy keeps filming.
- No one noticed the satellite fall into the ocean near a beach.
What did ruin the movie for me were the characters. Seriously, who stands around saying ” OH MY GOD WHAT DID THAT!?” when the Statue of Liberty’s head fell off and a whole bunch of buildings were collapsing. If that was me, I wouldn’t be standing around asking, I’d be running like hell! I wouldn’t stand around to find out.
Also, who the hell calls their boyfriend when they’re gravely injured? Plus, how in the world can the girlfriend walk/run a few hours after having a large pole pulled out of her!?
Some other things that ruined the film for me was the fact that everyone decided to follow him back to into the city! What? Not even one person decided not to follow him? If that was my best friend, I’d try to convince him/her to not go back, if that didn’t work, I’d let him/her be a moron and run to his/her doom.
If you want to make a monster movie that seems realistic, at least try not to make the characters total morons!

Sorry, that movie just annoyed me

I’ve seen movies and tv shows that have disapointed me. I love Star Treks, but the last series was stupid. It went before everything else, had more advanced techonology, and the characters didn’t go together. It was just boring :(.

Hello there. I know its been quite some time since I commented on your blog and I apologise: school caught up on me again. I must say that I never saw Cloverfield, but from what you said, it seems a pretty dense movie.
PS. Your sidebar has those “li” signs in front of the titles, you know those filled-up circles, e.g. in front of Meta. That’s really ugly, you should try to delete them. Apart from that, I really like this new layout! The colours fit perfectly together.

Hey Morgan! It’s fine, school comes first.
And thanks about the layout! Haha, I was going to take off the bullets when I was making the layout, but I got lazy >_>

Hahah, you are not the first person to tell me that this movie is ridiculous.

Bullets! That’s the worth. I’ve been bloody thinking about it for hours, since I could not come up for the exact word for those “li” signs. OMG. Bullets. How could I forget. I’m not officially going to hit myself with a frypan over a dozen times.

Uhum. Sorry this seems as SPAM, but apparently I was a bit too over-enthusiastic just a minute ago, and entered ‘worth’ instead of ‘word’. Now, in a last attempt not to sound utterly foolish, I’m going to post this comment in order to clarify my own, very stupid mistake. Thank you.
